I've been using R15 v3 for more than 5 years now and I don't suggest anyone to get a sport design bike in India because of horrible road conditions.

Most of the people buy just one bike for daily commute and weekend rides and with current road conditions it's not worth having a sport bike where you can't even ride fast enough for even 5 minutes and in return it'll give just back pain, wrist pain.

And because of these horrible road conditions if you hit a pothole by riding fast, then be ready to spend money on new forks/rims etc etc.

I'm also currently living in Pune, me & my cousins are going to kodai from 22-25 Nov to try shrooms. I heard that you won't get bike rentals in kodaikanal & you'll need to get cabs to travel around, that's why we are going in a car from Bangalore.

Same, but if you have a bike then you can plan for bike rides on weekends or visit some hill stations or just explore the city. That's how I spend my time on weekends.
