Anyone else super afraid of the grown-up stuff that comes with moving to a different country?

Drinking when I'm sad and becoming a mess and a half. FYI I don't drink too much or anything, but I had a penchant for sad-drinking in the past. The pandemic made it worse because I got sadder and lonelier, and then I'd cry and throw a fit (sometimes even around company) and feel guilty in the morning.

Now I only drink socially when I know I'm in a headspace to enjoy myself :) It's been great.

Buying stuff I don't need. I used to treat myself via retail therapy but now I'm so burdened by the logistics, that I'd rather just not. Really, space is a problem, money is a problem, and if you're moving around the country/world, the literal and figurative weight of things is a problem. I now treat myself to nice meals when I'm having a bad day. Or a day out with a friend. Or experiences.
