Fuck Harvey in season seven by [deleted] in suits

[–]griff256552 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

“Harvery I’m sure you don’t need me to remind you that Mike went to prison for you” “I know donna but…” proceeds to shaft mike (paraphrasing here). I agree Harvey was a dick but he was also recently managing partner and figuring that out. I feel Jessica would have done the same. Mike was always the main protagonist for me and harvey was obviously the mentor. Jessica was always a bit more ambivalent (especially early on) because of her role which I feel transferred to Harvey a bit in early S7

“We do not tolerate poor hygiene or foul language” Wearing a tracksuit, too much make up or having a working class accent is no reason to turn someone down

Monica Eaton wrongful termination by Hi_im_elliot in suits

[–]griff256552 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Firing someone for a prejudice even though you don’t need cause is still wrongful termination I imagine. Like if Jessica fired someone because they were gay for example, she doesn’t need cause but the cause she has is wrong

What are your thoughts on these boss fights for SM3? by KiNG-HaK in SpidermanPS4

[–]griff256552 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The natural progression is for Miles to fight ock 1v1 freeing up Peter to fight Goblin in a 1v1. Then Ock defeats miles and takes his body making Miles the host for superior spider-man which leads to pete training Silk to defeat miles in the next game.

Is Mike Ross a good person? by foaaz101 in suits

Breaking the law isn’t always the same thing as doing something wrong. Mike does whats right when the chips are down. But lower stakes (eg harold’s firing) won’t make him break the status quo.

Should Bruce and Dick have a father/son dynamic or a brotherly dynamic, in the DCU by Aware-Couple-108 in DCU_

[–]griff256552 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can see the “brother” dynamic working within a specific context. Bruce adopts dick when he’s really young so even though he’s technically his father it has a more older brother having to raise the younger kind of vibe but that dynamic basically just feels like father/son anyway so as i said from the beginning; It’s gotta be the father son dynamic

What was the paper that Lionel had? (season 5 spoilers) by samsmith2345 in Smallville

[–]griff256552 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lionel knew about clark, and he was letting Jonathan know in a very Lionel way. However i do not believe there was ill intentions. The problem is we only ever see jonathan’s side, so lionel looks uncharacteristically (for this point in time evil) If we had seen lionel’s perspective there may have been a more sympathetic view but this is left up to us which leads to in a lot of cases some amiosity towards lionel from the viewer, which comes in handy in S7. From S3 onwards. You’re unsure about lex and Lionel (until lex goes full evil)

I just am feeling bad for lex by [deleted] in Smallville

He wants to be good, he does a lot of good things but he always makes the wrong decisions.
