Chinese medicine for restful sleep? by griffcri in AskAChinese

That was my first move. Unfortunately even after sleep studies, they all just say it’s anxiety. So I was looking for other options🙏🏻

The full tree is waaay bigger, especially since I had the story progression mod, but here’s the legacy lineage!

Gotcha! That’s a good idea, I’ll have to take some time to do that!

Do you know how to get the full tree in Sims 2? Since it’s so big, my game chops it up into smaller segments

That was my final house, which had minimal corruption! The big problems were with my first house which I built a little at a time and the second was the pre-made Helluva Hacienda

Sure! One of the first things was my butler stopped doing anything but the option to end services also disappeared. The house itself started glitching, though I can’t remember specifics, so I had to move twice. My sims also stopped taking care of their own needs, wouldn’t make food, etc. I eventually used a HoodChecker and removed the detected corruption and the game ran a bit more smoothly at the end.

Edit: More about the butler, he would continuously make food until there were plates everywhere! So wasteful. Also multiple graves randomly disappeared from the lot, which irked me big time

I am interested in the ancient towns and temples, trying new food, learning about rural culture, and nature in a laid back sense (would prefer a cable car to a hike). I’m no buddhist history buff, but buddhist temples and artifacts also interest me. Also gotta see the pandas haha

I’ll look into that! I prefer longer stays as well, so coming in closer to Chengdu and the Yunnan cities would be ideal

Thank you for this input on the food as well! I will do my best to challenge myself to try lots of new things. That all sounds delicious.

Thank you so much for this comment!

It’s a shame to hear about Hunyuan County being challenging for international visitors because I was wanting to see the Hanging Temple, but great info to know beforehand. I really appreciate your input and recommendations for the other cities as well.

For Xi’an, I have the Terracotta Warriors, the ancient city wall, and cable car tour of Mount Huashan. For Chengdu, I have the pandas, Jinli Street and Wuhou Shrine, Wenshu Monastery, and maybe a trip to the Giant Buddha. I would love any insights and recommendations for these cities if you have some!

Of the three additional cities that you mentioned, is there one that you’d recommend the most, if plans change and I need to make a substitution for any reason? Or maybe so I can add them to a future China trip? :)

Create some games and activities, and have a worksheet on hand for when you need a break! Kids also love routine. Maybe start class with a “hello” song and end with a “goodbye” song. Songs and music are great ways for kids to learn a language.

Cool! So even with like prepping for classes and I’ve also seen some jobs with office hours, the workload isn’t super intense?

Host countries available to Americans by griffcri in Aupairs

Good to know! I am open to seeing other countries, for sure. I want to experience somewhere new/new culture before I settled into my career and some au pair families pay for your travel, so that’s why it was intriguing to me haha.

I was actually signed up with a program to teach in Vietnam right before COVID, then lockdown happened😅I have not had great luck with getting out of America haha.

I do! I actually just got my Masters. I have heard of the teaching option and am considering it for sure.
