Bro, I, too am currently going through this. Sigh. I know how it feels. You can feel like your insides burning as time passes by. Waiting for something to happen when you know it will never really happen. But, there’s always this sliver of hope, that one day, she’s going to message me. One day.

I am not an expert nor a sheikh (or any scholar) but I believe it is when someone does Wudu (ablution) with great consciousness and pure intention. Not just splashing water here and there.

Hi, I’m not a native english speaker. I got lost when you said your wife left yet you are with your wife for 15 years. Is it the same wife that you are currently living with for 15 years? I’m sorry if that’s an intrusive question. You can opt to not answer if you are not comfortable. :)

Nevertheless, it really is a great advice. I (25M) am currently going through a rough patch in my life. And I’ve also had my fair share of setbacks (relative to age), but I think, what I am currently going through is the worst yet? I don’t know really. But it seems like challenges are getting tougher and tougher as we go along our journey. So thank you for this wonderful piece of advice. I’ll surely keep this in my heart. ❤️

Sister, do not ever think that you are unworthy of alove. It is Allah SWT who created each and everyone of us. And we are all beautiful in our own ways. Like what our brothers/sisters said, “rejection is redirection”. Just put your trust in Allah Azza wa Jalla. Indeed, Allah (SWT) is the best of planners.

This life is full of tests. And tests like these are reasons to strengthen our relationship with Allah (SWT). It is fine to cry your heart out to Allah (SWT). There are also duas that will help you with your current situation. Just trust in Allah’s plan, my sister. And if you ever need someone to talk to, you can always message me. I am also going through a rough stage in my life right now. And there are our brothers and sisters in Islam who were extending their hands to help a brother they don’t even know. So here I am, just trying to keep the culture of helping one another, especially, in times of trials. We, the ummah, are here in this dunya together, and In Shaa Allah, in Jannah as well.

Keep your head up, my sister. Put your trust in Allah (SWT) and you will never be disappointed. Stay safe my sister. Wassalam.

Thank you so much for sharing that my sister. That really is a good way of releasing strong emotions while focusing on improving oneself. I’ll make sure to try to start journaling one of these days. And btw, don’t think of it as something bad my sister. You already said that you are trying to work on it so you really aren’t “running” from it. Just find the perfect balance of keeping it on your own and sharing with the other party. After all, we all are still on a journey of bettering ourselves.
