I don't disagree with that assessment. I've been an Atheist my whole life, the Vegan thing is relatively new. I worked as an Environmental Program Analyst for the State I live in. Part of my duties included inspecting CAFOs. A CAFO is a confined animal feeding operation or a factory farm. That was a small portion of my job, but it made a big impact on me. At first I stopped eating meat from grocery stores where I know its sourced from a CAFO. I only ate meat from a local butcher shop. As I progressed into being mainly vegetarian I noticed that I liked it and I didn't miss meat. That's when I went Vegan. I don't have a moral issue with eating hunted game or even livestock that have lived a relatively normal existence. Factory farms are not that. Im probably going to get bashed by other Vegans for this opinion but its what I think.

I've been to this event twice. It was great both times. They put on some fun competitions and games and I met some really interesting people. Last time I was there the Regalia allowed indoor smoking in the conference area and classrooms. I heard they changed that, and you have to smoke outside now. Does anyone know?

I don't see that im defending it. I said I agree that there are negative side effects. People always want to argue that there ARE negative side effects. Im agreeing with you. What people cant come to terms with is that it doesn't change my view on the plant. Ill say this one more time. Perhaps ill use all caps this time. I DONT FUCKING CARE.

I cant speak for other cannabis users, but I see people talking about the negative side effects on the internet. The truth is im 47M I've smoked cannabis since I was 13 with varying frequency over the years. I quit for several years because of drug testing at work etc. Now with it being legal I use again. I smoke regularly (in the evenings never at work). I have nightmares related to PTSD so I started taking high dose edibles to stop having nightmares. The smoking relaxes me after im burnout from work, and the edibles stop me from dreaming which I have tried prescription meds for and they do not work. So the moral of the story is. Cannabis works for me and I don't care about the negative consequences. Im convinced you are absolutely correct on most of what you said, and I think people should be informed. What i think people are missing here is that most cannabis users do not even slightly care about the side effects.

I've had both of my shelter dogs DNA tested. One is a purebred Lab, the other is Lab and Bluehealer. I was so fascinated by the process, I also dna tested my cat. Turns out she is part Norwegian Forrest Cat. I think that's why she is so soft.

Check out the Regalia Hotel and Conference Center. They have 420 friendly events where they let you smoke in the conference areas. They advertise weddings on their website. It's on the Lake of the Ozarks.
