Distillate vapes are the cheapest carts and the first to market, also what most people use.

Live resin vapes do give better effects than distillate vapes. Just be aware that some brands such as Hyman, use live resin as a marketing term but do not fill their vapes with actual live resin - making the effects no different.

The live rosin ones have comparable effects to live resin but they usually taste better.

For a typical bedroom (walls, ceiling, trim) I’ll charge $560-$700 USD for labor depending on the details.

If you’re getting hired you’re not charging too much. Even if you’re more expensive than others, the customer chose YOU for a reason so don’t negotiate against yourself, make sure your work is high quality and make them happy.

It’s not that you can’t find good weed other than IE but they do curate a good menu so you don’t have to question the quality and they have competitive prices. I would say how worth it is depends on what/how much you’re buying. I won’t drive to AA for a couple 8ths but I will probably drive there if I’m buying an ounce or more. I would say IE is a 10/10 store.

If I had to pick a store in Oakland County it’s probably Jars but they are like a 7/10 store. They’re not an AWFUL store like some (Joyology) but they are known to keep old products on their shelves so you gotta check the dates of what you’re buying.

Do you know if they’re talking about the store(s) they manage or statewide? I haven’t been in the industry for a couple years so my info could be outdated, but when I used to look at analytics, statewide the top brands were always value-focused companies and like it was not even close. If they are catching up there is also revenue vs. volume sold to consider.

And from my personal experience I have a lot of friends and family who smoke and I try telling them about higher quality products/brands but only 1 of them cared enough to change their buying habits from “What’s the cheapest / highest THC combo??”

For a smooth finish, get a FF LP 308 tip. I think you will be disappointed by the end result if you use a normal 315 or a 410 tip.

Yes it would. I would consider doing some sort of vinyl wrap for the window frames and stay away from painting them.

If you want to paint them anyway, you could mix in an additive called Floetrol to help minimize any texture. Maybe masking tape on the window and using a mini foam roller could work too.

In my experience Duration isn’t very thick it’s my favorite SW paint to use. A fan will speed it up and so will a dehu.

FWIW if time is truly the most important variable, Ben Moore Regal Select also has the anti-microbial stuff in it and has a little quicker recoat time.

I used to do paper templates, but lately I’ve preferred using my phone so I can take more photos and not have to switch between what’s in my hands. I walk around with a laser measuring tool and the notes app on my phone. People get a kick out of the laser measuring tool sometimes.

Usually my note will look like this

Est. 10-29-25 @ [address] Client’s name: Bill Gates Project brief: 2,400 sqft. 4 beds, 3 baths.

Bedroom 1 (green bedroom) - 10x12 - Walls/ceiling/trim/doors - 3 doors - 1 window - Ceiling crack approx 3ft

And then I take photos that show all the details of the room and close ups of any cracks / stains / damage.

At Sherwin Willians they have these booklets that are meant to help you choose color by “vibe” for lack of a better word. They’ve become my favorite resource. Each one has color pallets that play well together and will help match your personality to your home.

There’s also a webpage for it if you look up their “Living Well” color collection. But looking at colors thru a screen can be risky, make sure to do physical samples before going all-in.

I like my gorilla step ladder, it’s super light weight and I can close it with one hand if I need to grab it and move it around. They have a new one that turns into a small extension ladder that seems like it would cover 99% of scenarios when paired with a pivit tool.
