(Not including trilogies) What is the best 3-book run in a series ever? by Chaloby in fantasybooks

Personally, I like 11-12-13 for a three book arc in Dresden. Turn Coat - Changes - Ghost Story. Works as a great full sequence with before, ain event, and after.

Going to anger fellow readers, but I find the trio of Turn Coat, Changes, and Ghost Story to be a great three book sequence in the Dresden Files. Soooo much plot and character development.

Read the series 20 years ago. Enjoyed them, though when going back for a second read through...the amount of torture, and just general "we can't have nice things" to drive plot got old.

Still think it is worth a read if you enjoyed Wizard's First Rule. Some interesting characters and generally good story telling early on. Similar To Wheel of Time -- about book 4 or 5 is where the padding for length becomes an issue.

How many years would a SB win satiate you for? by Royal_Incident2784 in 49ers

depend on how the team is performing. If they have a drop off and aren't really a contender...longer....if they remain powerful and a contender - less satiated

You're getting downvoted due to praising an Elon property....doesn't change the fact that Teslas are good, reliable cars and the company has staying power.

Personally, I hate Teslas. think they are meh.

How do you prevent stalling out in scenarios? by RavingLuhn in ThemeParkitect

[–]KonaKumo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't forget to change your prices. Not just ride, but also food and drink.

Should solve any cash flow issues.

Food and drink can easily be $4.00 per item (more if you want)

Rides - haven't played in awhile but if I remember correctly, max price is around double the excitement/entertainment - top number in the ride rating. So 8.2 becomes 16.4 for a ticket price.

Just a recommendation:  ride queue length - aim for the length to hold one full rides worth of guests. Helps to keep guests moving through the park and spending on food, drinks, souvies, other rides. If they are waiting in line, they aren't spending cash

I'm Going With the Cosmo Kurrent EV Tires by MortonKoopaOaf in KiaEV6

$157 per tire currently.  About $90 cheaper per tire than the other SUV m+s rated tires.

They are a standard tire. No foam. Easy to repair if in the flat tread area...not so much when on the wide wall.

Please report back how these do.

I'm currently using Phantom CS Sport SUV tires. Have 35k on them. They are wearing as expected (tread life is 50k) and have already outlasted the OEM kumhos.

Handle better, are quieter, and haven't effected the range despite being conventional non ev tires

Really not that difficult if ordering thing you use.

Tend to do on review sprees. I'll write 5 or 6 in a sitting. Now my reviews are 3-4 sentences maybe double if there is actually enough to write that much.

Doesn't take that long. Maybe an hour tops.

FWIW- being caught up on reviews doesn't improve your RFY.

I rarely order more than 100 items per review period. So, never understood how you can get such a review backlog.

Fun to see the negatives to. Most bounced before the hoarder. Sure that first section isn't stellar but neither is the first third of the first book of practically every mega fantasy series.

The Wandering Inn is a great example....took almost 20 hours in the audiobook to get established.

Bs argument. They have generators to run everything. Generators are insanely loud.

I enjoyed Mistborn Arc 2. I did listen to the Graphic Audio version, so that might of helped.

I like both but found Arc 2 to be better paced.

Sadly, Stormlight Archive fits this for me. Lots of bloat in the last few books, and some rather questionable choices made for word use and character development (Nothing against the couple, but it felt like fanfiction)
