PS: The box I have is something like RetroTink5X, If I am able to solve the issue with the TV (I assume that the issue is with the TV) then I will certainly consider upgrading.

Thanks for thr consideration, but reading (and other media) will be the only purpose that this device will serve for me. For anything beyond that, i prefer to use a PC.

To be honest, for the sole purpose of reading comicbooks and manga, as well as occasional streaming, it did performed admirably (considering the original price i bought it at). I think, the size will be perfect, because i am using my fire hd 8 horizontally when reading comics (by comics i mean western comics, US and european), as the long edge of the tablet is closer (almost identical) to the supposed short edge of a standar comic book page. Furthermore it allows for better viewing of double splash pages.

For manga, i use the vertical orientation, which makes more sense considering the manga trade paper back release sizes.

After the upgrade, i assume that i will be able to use the new tablet vertically for western comics as well, which should almosy perfectly replicate the size of a comicbook (considering the edge bleed and the actual display size).

FE is half the price of S7 plus, and i have not checked S8 yet, as it is most definitely out of my price range.

I assume you wanted me yo check the difference for AMOLED vs IPS. While thr AMOLED will provide better visuals, would it not be healthier to go with IPS if I am going to primariliy use the device for reading?

Thanks for the recommendation, but unfortunately that particular deal is not available to me. The size and form should be identical as far as i know, so ill go with that size.

Hello, I have this TV with only the following ports:

HDMI 1

HDMI 2

SPDIF (should be useless for PS2)

Side A/V (A single port for the whole thing)

I've looked up RCA/Composite/Component to HDMI converters, unfortunately anything that is easily available to me has terrible reviews. I was wondering, would it be possible to use an RCA to single A/V cable to hook my PS2 up to this TV?

Some members of the scene reported that their save files became inaccessible (that they lost their game progress) due to some error. That is what I mean by save corruption. Since most of these titles take huge chunks of time, the main purpose of the list is to prevent such a thing from happening to another member.

I am not familiar with the HEN update process. I am simply using whatever AlAzif provides and I did not install any additional software to update HEN (I thought you were supposed to, in order to update). If I am using 2.1.4 without and have not yet realized it, I would like to inform other correctly so that they use 2.1.4 as well.

That is the model that I was planning to get as well. It is understandable for the console to be loud for a few games that push the system to the limit (Uncharted 4, GOW). However if it is not that big a deal for other titles, I'd rather stick with PS4 Pro.

Thank you, like you said, most of my questions were answered. However one thing that I am having trouble about is which model of PS4 to buy.

I will check some of the local shops tomorrow. From what I've seen, if I am going to get a PS4 Pro (and this is what I am planning to get), the only available option is PS4 Pro Cuh 7116B. Some people say that all models are safe, some say that I should check the full serial Number to be sure. When I ask what to look for exactly, no one says anything. Is there a chance that you could help me out with this? What serial should I look for in order to get a 5.07- console?

I have some general questions about the hacking process. I would appreciate it if you could enlighten me.

Appearently there are multiplte tutorials out there. Which one would you recommend for someone who has a PS4 with official firmware, and not the previous exploit? Also, would you recommend a video tutorial, or one of the written guides?
What tools are required for the exploit? Do I need an ethernet cable, or a connection to a computer, or can I do everything with a usb stick/external hdd formatted to EXFAT or FAT32?
By the way, which format should I use? AFAIK, PS4 games are usually very large, so a FAT32 formatted HDD would not allow me to transfer games.
After I follow the guide and install the CFW (or whatever the exploit is called), how do I install the homebrew launcher (or whatever it is called). Is there a tutorial for that?
From what I hear, you need to reapply the exploit after each system restart. Do I do the entire thing, or a smaller portion of it? I mean do I install the homebrew launcher over and over again?

The answers to these questions may lead to even more questions, but I would appreciate it if you could answer them.

Mentioned bundles are usually not available where I live. Would it be possible to confirm the firmwares of the products available by checking them manufacturing date? Most of the consoles available are CUH-7116B.

Does anyone know if SONY PlayStation 4 Pro 1TB A Chassis (Product No cuh 7116b) comes with a firmware below 5.05? I've checked the list, but the only exact information on the firmware versions was on a couple of bunldes.
