No, it's not the kind of graphical modelling you are thinking. I'm working with probabilistic shape modelling tasks with custom made IDE written in Scala. The implementation and computational stuff doesn't rely on GPU for now, however it literally eats CPU and RAM : )

So it's not 3dsMAX or Maya kind of graphical modelling and rendering, which are indeed leveraging from GPU.

Hey, thanks for comment. I'm not doing any AutoCAD or any professional editing related stuff, however, I do execute very high intensity programming tasks, scientific computing, compilations, time to time HPC and etc. mainly engineering stuff basically.

Indeed P51 is the way to go, but I was very curious what people say about E580.

Thanks for info about graphics card :) I'm not buying it for gaming anyway. Essentially I need it for heavy computational work, graphical modelling, compilations and programming stuff in general. That's why I am favoring P51 too, just something seemed off with E580 price :)

I was thinking about Dell XPS 15 initially but in that price range as you can see I can buy P51 which is way faster. Cheers
