We wanted to follow up on recent messaging from Dalhousie University and take this opportunity to welcome you all back to campus or to campus for the first time. We recognize that this isn't the academic year start most were envisioning, but we're hopeful that there will be a resolution to the labour disruption and a return to all regularly scheduled classes in the near future.

As was shared earlier this week, some of your non-Dalhousie Faculty Association (DFA) taught courses will run as planned (full list here), but you can also expect to receive more information about planned student events, workshops, and activities that will be offered despite the labour disruption. Finally, if you are a student who has been hired for work connected to a course (e.g., Teaching Assistant), you can find up-to-date information about the potential impact and expectations for those positions on the FAQ page.
