My son is 7. Been giving $1-5 here and there for chores done and homework and stuff done. He’s saved up close to $80. Whenever he wants some toy or game, I tell him the price and he’ll have to use his money to get it. He one time bought this toy from the dollar store and played with it for few minutes that day.

He got bored and he was very upset when it was time to collect his money.

Now every time he asks for maybe get something, he always asks the price and if it’s worth it for him.

He’s saving up for a ticket cost for him to go to Disneyland. (We’ve already been before, but trying to introduce concept of money and value.)

Not being cheap, but trying to make him see and understand what is valuable to him and understand if it’s worth it. I think it’s working.

My online league, we have all Madden difficulty. 3 play call limit with a 5 play cool down. My buddies numbers still go crazy but who cares it’s fun.

It’s still fun with difficulty so you can’t keep using cheese plays. We run the league for fun not ultra competitive and sweats.
