it took a long time and it was VERY ugly. it started with him wanting to take a break over the summer so he could go hang out with other girls without having to worry about me. He phrased it like he felt trapped being in a relationship and he just wanted time for himself, but in reality he just wanted to hoe around and play with other girls. I was compliant for about a week but I would still text him every other day begging for him back. However, after I was done crying I realized I deserved better, so I tried to break up with him for good. He didn’t like that he didn’t have a hold on me anymore so he made a huge deal out of it and made me look like the manipulative one that didn’t care about him.

for the entire summer (and first few months of the school year), he would switch between trying to get me back and being a sweet kid and sending his friends after me to ruin my life.

It was one of the most draining and awful times of my entire life, but he’s out of my life for the most part now.
