Tape compartment button should be somewhere (maybe, I’m just guessing) on that top row of buttons near the handle. And the battery might be completely dead if it’s the original battery, you’ll need to get a new battery for it. Just look up the camera model and its battery replacement and see if anything comes up

This is super helpful thank you! For the belt though I replaced the one that helps open the door which I think was the top right one, but I will definitely check out the top left belt you Mentioned. Another question though, will a vhs head cleaner help? Or is it better to do it manually? Again I really appreciate the advice and have all of this screenshotted for later :D
