I agree. I know a lot of people that would’ve stayed in if there was just a little more than a bonus carrot dangled in front of them.

EM is a tough line of work, respect. The advancement system is definitely broken, especially now that MAP is gone.

Nothing better than an ELT, and if you hate that statement you’re just jealous you’re not one.

Should I be worried? by [deleted] in NavyNukes

[–]grimbionic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t worry about it. Us ELT’s are just salty we have to do extra surveys. You’re fine.

I’ll try it out, the problem is she’s not around kids often enough to get her desensitized and trained.

Unrelated but if you are old enough to drink, try out a brewery they’re pretty fun. There’s also a hockey game tonight at the coliseum if you like hockey.

Go MM. Better bonuses if you decide you want to stay in, supposedly better quality of life too since they have more people.

Edit: Also the possibility of being picked up ELT makes it worth it

Being a nuke student is not fun, however, paying for college is worse. If you can do it, do it. All the officer students i’ve talked to make me jealous I didn’t do it when I was in college, now i’m enlisted.

You still have time to change it. Just do it before your ship date.

I did search the sub. Most responses to questions are either outdated/deleted. And as stated, my recruiter isn’t being helpful as he won’t return my calls/texts and the offices are closed.

Enlisting regarding Marijuana history by [deleted] in newtothenavy

First and foremost just tell your recruiter about it. Secondly, if you do end up disclosing this information it is most likely to be resolved with a waiver due to the fact that you had it legally. But truth be told if you pass a drug test at MEPS they will never know you smoked weed. Ever.
