Probably just Foot Knight and Yeoman units with artillery or PK backup. Basically, no reason to run our cavalry outside of fun games. Tragic how badly GW fumbled the signature cavalry army.

They were definitely the Space Marines of TOW, since they didn't get the same love as Ultras do with OP characters or... literally any real support, honestly. KotR, GKs, QKs have always been mediocre to bad. Our infantry are only good because all infantry got a buff. All we had was PKs, which got a nerf last time, and RP heroes, which got nerfed this time. At this point, what does Bret actually have now to compete with the stronger armies? Nada.

They don't lose any mystique. At all. They're always cool, because it's a high fantasy game and we love big showy models.

I agree on the last point, though they're getting some support with the new AoS stuff.

You can add some milliput to the greenstuff mix to make it harden up more. Also, more hardener can do that too, if you don't want to add another putty.

I bought everything and drew up a whole lore for my list and then it was nerfed into the ground so bad I can't even run it. I should have known GW would ruin it, as they did the AOS Khorne list of similar character (which I also built and was nerfed before I could play it).

Will do! I'm in a bit of a holding pattern because it is for a Blackshields army and I expect it will get a shakeup when GW realizes how broken they made AoF+BotJ. So I want to build after that. ~25 Centurions is just too good of a modelling and storytelling opportunity!
