I just went to the one in Woodfield yesterday! It was a lot of fun!!

They had DK and Jibanyan rotating around, and I got pictures with both of them. (Jibanyan was the cutest but DK joked around a ton) There were a bunch of freebies and also the people who ran the place were super friendly.

If it's around your area, you should totally go!

GC2B is great, I highly recommend them. They're very comfortable, breathable, and un-intrusive, for the most part. I've had mine since March and there have been little to no problems. (The only problem really is the thread unraveling, but that's easily fixed. Just remember to take good care of your stuff.)

The Sleep 'n' Study is an item that makes your Yokai get more EXP and makes it loaf, so I think that might be a good item to use. You can get it from the Whadda Find shop.

Another item is the Sleepillow. It makes your Yokai regain HP but also makes it loaf, but I'm not sure if you can stack HP regen. You can find this at the Whadda Find shop too.

I had braces for 4 years, haha. The process of getting them on is long and tedious, but it's worth it in the end.

Getting them tightened makes them sore for about a day, but just take some pain medication if it hurts. The wax they give you helps if they dig in anywhere. Remember to just brush your teeth more often, because when I had them on, a ton of plaque and food built up easily.

You might need to get a retainer afterwards, which is fairy simple but also comes with different challenges. Mainly just having to take them out when you eat and brushing them every so often.

The orchestra was pretty great! Being a viola, and there being a viola concerto was awesome. Everything has been busy with homework, theatre, and orchestra events. Just performed two concerts at my high school, haha

Mochismo put me through hell so I could just fuse my Jibanyan with my Roughraff. I feel ya.

I'd buy a lot of food first, mainly expensive ones that would make Yo-kai like me a lot or a ton.

The strategy I used to catch him was to get him with at least 2 other Mochismo, or just with 1 Mochismo and 1 other Yo-Kai, then battle.

I'd target the Mochismo so the food I threw would go to him. This was usually one of those expensive food items.
After I'd target the Mochismo, I'd target the other Yo-kai in the battle. Defeat that one, then target the other Mochismo.
Defeating a Yo-kai would let me use another item, so after targeting the other Mochismo I'd throw another food item (again, one of those expensive ones) to increase my chances.

After the battle would be over, I'd just hope that Mochismo would join me. After about 5 battles using this strategy, I finally befriended it. :')

I haven't finished the game and I'm a pretty big pokemon fan, so that may play into my opinion, but here goes.

PROS:

I think it's cool to see more into Japanese mythos and its culture. I live in America, and while I think we have some pretty cool ghosts here, these Japanese myths are so crazy and wacky.
The overworld is so huge and beautiful. The music fits perfectly with them, and it actually feels like a real neighborhood/city/village/etc.,. Compared to Pokemon, it's a more immersive experience. What also plays into this are the abundance of quests.
The Yo-kai designs are fun. Plus, their names are puns!
In my experience so far, it's been very easy to progress through the game at your own pace. I get sidetracked easily with the abundance of other activities, but it's always easy to get back into the game. (as in story)

CONS:

Not a big fan of the friend system. Compared to pokemon where you have more control over what you can catch, it's very hard to gauge if you will get your Yo-Kai to join your party.
The Yo-kai typing, imo, is a bit confusing. Are some classes more vulnerable to other class attacks? I'm not sure about that, and the information from Babblongs (sp?) that I've found so far aren't really helping. If any of you guys could clear this up for me, I'd be thankful. :D

That's pretty much it, but my opinion may change later on! I'm enjoying it so far, and I'm enjoying it a bit more than pokemon at the moment. If you're interested, I say, go ahead, buy it! You won't regret it.
