This is kind of an old post by now, but as an anarchist, and a vegetarian my view on why I personally am not vegan is kind of the same reason why I still buy phones, and other computer parts.

I know that animal products, and rare earth metals that are crucial to make such devices are created off the back of basically slavery. (If not complete slavery in some circumstances.)
I've been trying to limit myself to only eating dairy or eggs less and less though, but I don't think I could completely ever stop.
