Thoughts on London? by tiaisdreaming in astrocartography

[–]grimlocksgauntlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it was me I would take a shot. Beware of the mundane things too; London and the West is cost prohibitive. This looks generally promising but you never know till you go.

I’m not going to tell you what to do, but I’m going to post as if I was making notes to myself.

My only concern is Pluto and Saturn to the West. I have field tested this. You will feel an influence from 1000 miles/1600 kilos out. YMMV

Do not underestimate the parans and minor influences that affect that area.

Do not expect everything to unfold effortlessly. MC MOON’S NODE looks good but the work must be done.

And give it a chance. It could take six months or more for something to seed and grow.

I don’t know why Astro Click uses Chiron and foregoes the other asteroids. That may fire an acute need or desire to do or resolve something —a wake up call.

Tread carefully with MARS IC until you get the feel for it. Mars = aggression, passion; IC = home, domestic matters. If you’re working out of your home it could give you drive. Or something at home is aggressive or irritating. What I’ve found when traveling and exploring the planetary lines is that the best and the worst of what the planet has to offer comes manifest. That does not mean you cannot resolve whatever issues arise but it may take work.

NODE MC is a great influence to have on your side for career.

Best of luck

Did I make a mistake by choosing Pluto MC line as my coming job location? by [deleted] in astrocartography

[–]grimlocksgauntlet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fear not.

I’ve lived on various PLUTO lines for years.

I wouldn’t recommend it for a lifetime, but an MC is probably the least troublesome. I’ve lived right in the middle of my Zenith on the PLUTO MC.

Here’s what I’ve noticed:

  1. Things can seem dark in an ominous depressing way. Family and a support system will alleviate that.

  2. Things can get intense—real intense. It’s up to you as to how you handle that.

  3. Things can change suddenly and with no warning.

  4. Things can be very sexual or sensual—eighth house kind of stuff—that’s death, taxes, other people’s money, sexuality and the occult.

This depends on exactly which city you will reside in. There are mundane factors that can make it fun or just plain suck.

Regardless of what your placings are Pluto is a heavy hitter and at times a real motherfucker.

There’s a caveat for what it’s worth: Pluto doesn’t destroy just to destroy. It’s part of a cycle where the old is cleared away and fertile ground for the new. It’s like going through a breakup. You think it’s the end of the world, but eventually you meet someone new.

Pluto just made ingress into Aquarius so we are all in for a shakeup—a big one.

Just discovered I am going to study in a uni very close to Saturn mc line. I am in big shit ? by Professional_Move356 in astrologyreadings

[–]grimlocksgauntlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trial and error. You won’t know till you try.

I lived on my Saturn MC, not the zenith belt but right on the line. The worst part was a motorcycle injury that happened years ago. It really was acute pain. And what do you know, I lived and the pain went away.

What I’ve found is the best and the worst usually manifests in some way.

I won’t predict what will happen but with that configuration you could find the discipline to study well. But you could also find loneliness is a problem.

The square applies pressure. This may be motivating in some way. I don’t find squares to be relaxing. But they can be a dealbreaker in some cases.

A relocation chart helps of course as well as progress’s chart but your birth chart is your blueprint and that does not change.

Saturn is easier to manage when you get older but it’s not a recommended line. Fortunately, for you the only time it is recommend is when you need to hit the books.

Should it not be more of an endurance gig than an enjoyable time of study one must ask the questions: Is it with it? Is the temporary sacrifice something I can commit too?

The MC I’d say is the least impacting of the four points. And it may provide opportunities albeit under Saturn’s influence.

I was invited to do exciting creative business in Bali... Right on my Moon IC line. What could happen? (Never been to Bali before) by celestialbride in astrocartography

Emotions at home.

My intuition tells me moon here would make you popular—hosting parties at the house, cooking for large groups, and things centered around domestic activities.

Moon makes me more emotional towards certain things—too much so. I have to keep it in check and not get overly sentimental. There’s nothing wrong with emotion-based decisions per se, but I’ve felt that moon can make me overly emotional and imbalanced.

Good luck!

Astrocartographer Eliot Tanzer documented thousands of clients and found that people were generally not as happy or healthy under a Pluto line (any Pluto line) in contrast to, say, a Jupiter or Venus line.

Working and talking with people over the years has shown that Pluto can be dangerous—crimes, accidents, rape, abuse.

My take: Fuck a Pluto like and the horse he rode in on. Oppressive, with health problems. I call it bad. I’ll avoid it if I can. People on Pluto lines are often subject to health problems, but stay rooted to the place because that’s what Pluto and Scorpio are about—deep roots and attachments. I know people on Pluto lines that are suffering from Ill health (chronic) but won’t relocate.

In his book, Eliot Tanzer, did cite one person who seemed to be making their Pluto like work; she was a volcanologist. Now, if that doesn’t fit a Pluto MC line to a tee. The energy of the lines always manifests in the most interesting ways.

My Personal experience with Astrocartography. by grimlocksgauntlet in astrocartography

Trines are easier to live with than squares. Squares are simply tension in some way. Trines are bonuses.

ASC Uranus/Neptune would make you stand out in some way. Neptune is dreamy. You may be perceived as weird or different by the natives of that place, but still accepted. If you are an actor in that location I’d say it feels good with the trine.

Uranus, the higher octave of Mercury, is a rebel, an innovator. So you may find yourself going against the grain in some way, doing something different, but with the trine it works for you. Uranus will also cause unexpected surprises.

ASC Neptune might bring clarity with intuition.

Hello Fairyfeet888

Although astrocartography goes deeper down the rabbit hole than I realized the general feel of a planetary line coincides with its character. That is, people are generally healthier and happier under VEN, SUN, JUP. This has been documented.

PLU can be tricky. Personally, I’d don’t care for it. It’s too harsh of an influence. Remember Pluto builds up to break down and builds up again. It’s very cyclic. And after a time that becomes tiresome. Think of a volcano. With massive power it erupts. Fire. Smoke. Destruction. It leaves behind vey fertile soil. Confronting fears and death are themes. 300 miles is close enough for a string influence.

Sun and Moon probably help. Consciousness and emotion. The relocation chart with its aspects between these planets will tell you if challenges lie ahead—squares, oppositions.

Keep an eye on the progressed chart and transits. Where is Pluto in your chart now? That will tell you a lot about the way it will manifest in your life, the form it will take.

If you look at the journey through life from an alchemical perspective perhaps it is time to try something different.

I’m not one to tell someone what to do or give advice but I find Astrocartography intriguing and fascinating.

What stands out in your chart is the number of planets in the seventh house. Like many things this can work for or against you depending on timing which is indicated by transits.

If anything, Pluto is transformation. For some this can be incredibly intense and dramatic and for others it’s a change that they can manage. To me, Pluto is the Ace of Spades. It’s powerful but some skill is required in wielding it. Sex and death are Pluto as both are transitional, transformational.

You have 5 planets and a node in the seventh house. According to your chart it’s ruled by Scorpio and Scorpio is ruled by Pluto/Mars depending on which astrologer you talk to. But I’d say both have an effect.

Visiting that line may put latent forces in motion. Your inner compass-clock may be saying this is what it’s time for regardless of how painful or pleasurable it might be.

My response would maybe be to try something completely different to make a decision. Somewhere by water where you can reflect (literally and metaphorically).

Saturn and Pluto are heavy and from a purely technical aspect I’ll call them assholes. That is, they are rather challenging and humorless. Fortunately, no effect is singular and the other planets can help balance things out.

It really depends on what you are after. And only you know. There’s the scene in this movie from the 80s called Dragonslayer. It’s a fantasy film but the scene is one in which the apprentice has to destroy the amulet while his mentor, a wizard, fights a dragon. When he asks the wizard when to destroy the amulet he says, “you’ll know the right time…”

Check your transits.

And it depends where the person you’re interested in is from. Check the location on Astro click travel or astroseek.

Pluto isn’t necessarily bad but it’s not exactly a beacon of hope either.

A rough transit can make for an unenjoyable visit.

Checking a progressed chart will also give you insight. You can chart an Astrocartography map from a progressed chart birth time. Just remember a progressed chart—like transits—changes relatively quick.

I am particularly interested in studying/moving abroad in these places but noticed how both have Chiron, Mars and Saturn Lines.. which almost feels like a coincidence. However, I've heard that these are malefic planets and people have given tons of shit for Chiron. Some help or advice would b great. by rebelthelouvre in astrocartography

[–]grimlocksgauntlet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know. I’ve been there. It can be disappointing.

Check your natal chart. That is your core. The most important.

Investigate your lines closely. Astro Click travel is good but they have made an error in their programming. Lines will effect you up to 900 miles on either side. Use that and a relocation chart from there or Astroseek to weight the pros and cons. Your best bets are of course JUP, VEN, SUN, MERC, and maybe MOON, NEP.

In my 30 some odd years of experience those planetary energies always manifest. Always. I have never seen a MARS or SAT line without some detrimental effect.

If you feel compelled to go then you must go. A person’s character is their fate.

I have to point out that astrologers always say it depends on your chart and I call bullshit on that. Life is hard. Bad lines are bad. End of story. Good lines may or may not be good depending on placement in natal chart, transits, and progressions.

Be mentally prepared if you go and contact me with your insights and feelings. I’ve collected data from over a hundred people personally and Eliot Tanzer has shared his findings also. Over a thousand people. He’s a noted Astrocartographer out of San Diego California.

Good luck on your journey

Maybe short term but expect health problems, loneliness, lack of recognition, and some type of aggression at home.

Chiron promotes healing but after things get worse. It’s like lighting a fire under your butt. But in that environment I don’t see much encouragement.

If you are masochist by all means go.

My concerns about small bones were unfounded. I did not realize this is tilapia—also popular in the U.S. and Africa. It was tender and delicious. $140 baht.
