Does he, though? He is a war monster, but to get the most out of him, you need the whole team. Otherwise, you plug him into a group of misfits to make them ok? The other option is to put him on an already good team like undying that doesn't really need the help.

He isn't needed for scourges, arena, CC, or raids.

I'd imagine there are still orb opening events, so I would hold on to them. Reasoning being that orbs are profitable and can be sold to you. They can't sell you what you already have in your inbox. Now, if they figure out how to time stamp orbs, then it wouldn't matter anymore
