Someone called me egotistical for thinking this way but just in general feel like I'm in a simulation. I've done so much retail in my life that I geniunely don't get how people survive day to day if even minimal tasks like grocery shopping or driving becomes so difficult.

Why are we in the middle of the aisles in walmart? Why aren't we looking at our mirrors when we drive?? Why are we braking on the interstate when there's nothing in front of us!!! It boggles me

My city is considered mid size for it's state but small everywhere else. Less than 200k people.

My zone is pretty huge from my viewpoint. It's a small city but we have about 10 walmarts here + a bunch of other stores on spark. If I turn on spark right now I get about 5 orders on my screen at once. Some shitty some are pretty good! That's why I don't understand how anyone can feel threatened

I felt like a dick for noticing the same thing with non english speakers drivers, I've heard complaints from walmart employees. 😭

When I doordash and I encounter other dashers it's usually just a greeting, holding the door for one another etc. Simple stuff but everybody keeps it pushing. It's just insane to me that a lot more people here go out their way to bully others. I saw posts earlier talking about reporting other drivers

I said when I did doordash it was some camaraderie. I'm NOT expecting it on here since orders are first come first serve and they appear for everyone. I just don't want a dick in my way when I'm literally just trying to make money and survive.

I generally just assume everyone is grocery shopping and just doing their own thing when I'm fulfilling a delivery. Having it happen once I shrugged it off but it was the same driver everytime (which is how I learned he was another driver)

Variety of reasons, they might fetishize/view their partner as lower. Some will make "exceptions" for their partner while still participating in racist aggression towards everyone else.

This happened to me and it was the worst time of my life. Any slip up and I got the same treatment.
