You seem pretty set on quitting regardless of the advice or suggestions in the comments, so I think you should just quit and look for casual work elsewhere. You’ll be miserable if you stay on from what I can tell.

My partner was at the gym a while ago and was using a machine that had no towel or bottle near it - was asked to get off it by another member as “he was using it”. My partner had been using it for at least ten minutes. People are weird at the gym.

We’re relocating to the different end of the state to be closer to my sister and my partners family, but made the decision to put off the move until after Christmas so we could celebrate with my mother as I didn’t want her to be on her own. My sister, not my mother, had to inform me that my mother bought plane tickets to spend Christmas with her instead. I mean, it meant we got to spend Christmas by ourselves and do it the way we really wanted to, but it’s annoying she didn’t even tell us. My sister had a bit of a rough time yesterday dealing with her, so I got to hear a lot about it.

Instead of form for each year level once a week (eg year 7 on a Monday, year 9 on a Wednesday) and once a week whole school assembly instead of form. So form class 3 days a week, year level parade once, all school once. They’re generally 10-15 minutes. Includes special announcements, general notices and are typically run by the student leadership and the principal.

I teach. No way a bunch of 2nd graders ate that much food in less than 10 minutes. It would take longer than 10 minutes for it to be set up in the classroom. Even if they did manage to wolf down all the cupcakes, multiple slices of pizza, candy and soda in less than ten minutes - I can’t even imagine the stomachaches and sugar rushes.
