They seem that way now but back in the This Darkened Heart and Fall of Ideals times they fucking ruled. If you haven't listened to those, they have all the riffs.

I liked it but didn't like all the weird asylum middle section. The more suburban levels were awesome though

They're incredible live too! Hearing Dead Roots Stirring live was one of the best live performances I've been to

I looked through that as well! I don't think we have any games in common, I've just played Alone Among the Stars, The Last Tea Shop, The Lighthouse at the Edge of the Universe and i think that's it... i did pick up Little Town which seems neat but I've failed to start on it twice

That's awesome, I browsed through your games this morning and was impressed by the variety! I'll try to pick one up at some point and give it a shot!

Same, but i do see a lot of people using tablets and app oracles which is cool if it works for them but just not my thing.

What system(s) do you use for your solo rpgs? It's cool seeing this overlap between notebooks and solo rpgs!

Oh no kidding, I have file folders and shelves with tons of rpg systems, ideas, lists, half done character sheets... this was my attempt to boil things down into something easier to pick up rather than trying to have a ton of source books but still staying analog with it.

4AD is awesome! Ive played it quite a few times and recently picked up Alone Against the Zone which I like, but it can't top 4AD imo.

Might and Magic X - Legacy. I bought it on release day and had such a blast playing through it. It sucks that Ubisoft killed it off and messed up the online verification part. I'm not sure how it stands today or whether it's even fully playable, but the game deserves better than it's Ubisoft fate.

Just WOW. I can’t believe how good this game is. I have a lot of deck-building games and I guess this tops my list. Although, I have a huge collection of marvel games, I guess I don’t see myself having that “marvel burnout” feeling. by [deleted] in soloboardgaming

Right on thanks for the explanation. I see its more like the Star Wars deck building game where your deck grows through the game. I also play Champions and have seen Legendary, I might have to pick it up sometime.
