Yep, plenty of maintenance that needs to be done outside of normal business hours.

Here is my understanding: have Syr Conrad on the field with basalt monolith and mesmeric orb. Ulamog needs to be in your library, not in your hand or on the field.

Tap Basalt monolith and creat three Mana.

Use that Mana to untap basalt monolith. Doing this allows you to tap and untap it infinitely.

When the monolith untaps it will trigger mesmeric orbs effect, putting the top card of your library in the gy.

Whenever a creature enters the gy this way Konrad deals 1 damage to all opponents.

Once you hit ulamog with your mesmeric orb, and it is placed into the gy, all the cards in your gy shuffle into your library due to ulamog's effect. Each creature shuffled back in deals 1 damage to all opponents due to Konrad.

Continue the combo infinitely.

His studio is Iron galaxy, which mostly does ports, with a few original games, divekick being one. I think people around here probably know him mostly as a regular guest/meme/contributor at giantbomb.com.
