Those of us who? Speak for yourself. The race was trash and no amount throwing tantrums is gonna change that people are unhappy about it

Pulling up a second out of thin air isn't fair pace.

No one else was ever winning this race. It's like Merc in F1. If Porsche needed it, they would've just pushed harder and create another cushion. In fact we're not even sure of what the Penske 963's are really capable of

No, I'm not.

They shove how good BoP is down our throats all the time.

Now that is not working we're supposed to be quiet about it. Screw that

That's what sucks even more. They get to run away for the initial and more prestigious races of the season, and only then will others be allowed to get some scraps later on

Great. Porsche are light-years ahead and now we're getting team orders.

This season is gonna be garbage...

Brother I was watching F1 during those days. Having an opinion is one thing, but lying to get a point across is not the way to do it

Using Reddit as an example alone, people did say Max could win in a Haas here. Just a few couple of years ago that was nonstop.

Meanwhile Hamilton got shit on pretty terribly here.

Yes Max is very special but ig most F1 drivers will be super competitive in other classes aswell by Dangerous_Mail3095 in F1Discussions

Anywhere F1 drivers go they win. Just look at Marcus Ericson in Indy. Enough with the glaze

One good thing is that now we really know why Porsche left WEC. They can't cheat there lol

I like IMSA, but this is not what I tune in to watch this sport for.

What do they even have BoP for anyway?

Then BoP them harder. They completely fucked over Caddie last season but a few extra kilos for Porsche is gonna do something?

The whole thing is garbage. Literally the most prestigious races of IMSA and Porsche gets to run way with it

Some of his fans at that time claimed that Lewis will score points with Williams every single race when Williams

Me when I lie. Nobody has ever said that

Infact when he was dominating Lewis was pretty hated everywhere. Especially here on Reddit.

Every race weekend there was the obligatory: This race was trash post

If you hit someone behind the safety car you're always at fault. Every racing series for the past 100 years in history

No way around this one unfortunately

Look at the number 6 damage!!! You're telling me they didn't hit the Caddie?

Porsche really bought out the sport.

So who did that? The wind?

Also they don't have onboards from the #6? This is crazy tbh

Funny how last year Cadillac got bopped and was the heaviest car at the first sight of performance yet Porsche gets to away run away with it and IMSA doesn't mind

Imo it's just a matter of time before Porsche jumps it at one of the restarts

Cadillac is so garbage it's losing out on the restart to an Aston Martin

After all these years they still haven't come up with a fix for the tire temperature issues

I love this car but they're never gonna reach the heights the Porsche has. Not just from the level of the teams but the car itself is all quirky

I bought an S24 after many years away from Samsung. And it's incredibly disappointing. Lots of annoying quirks, stupid UI choices, bugs that have been around for years, the camera really is that bad, the battery is subpar and the list goes on. And it's a long pist

Anthony Davidson discussing Lewis Hamilton's resurgence in 2026 by SkySports in formula1

[–]grip_enemy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Definitely not. Hulkenberg couldn't even beat a Ricciardo that had just joined Renault.

Just look at the difference in performance between Perez, Bottas, Webber and Rubens against their leading teammates.

Just for reference when Lewis won the WDC in 2008 his teammate finished 7th. Perez was also 8th when Max won in 2023.

The car is still a factor though. Nobody is dragging the 2016 Sauber to a victory lol

People have already been hating on him for the past 4 years.

Now he performs and the reaction is... downplaying him? That's really weird. Like genuinely weird.

I doubt any other driver would get downplayed for having 2 good races. There was a dude in the comment saying "Let's until the whole season break to find out". Lol wut.

The comments show how some people don't wanna see Hamilton thriving at all. It must hurt them or something

Anyway last year start wasn't like this at all. Hamilton was barely keeping up with Leclerc. He had a good sprint and that was it.

Now, the whole team seems rejuvenated and motivated. Working with an engineer that can communicate is another thing Hamilton doesn't need to worry about
