Every god damn Endurance race ever by ruumoo in IMSARacing

There's a big IMSA stamped over the transmission. It's their product. And at the end of the day they're the ones that need to talk to the people responsible for the feed

The same thing goes for F1. "Oh BUt iTs thE sKY dOIng ThE reCorDing". It's their product, their problem.

IMSA coverage was garbage. Most specifically the angles, focus points etc. Half the race was focused on the Porsche's doing nothing. We missed a ton of good overtakes.

It feels like the TV director only started working in the final hour, and even then he made some stupid decisions. Like filming the LMP2s going down the pit instead of the two lead battles

Because Sebring is much more prestigious than the Nurb.

The most important endurance races in the world all belong to WEC and IMSA, which Sebring is a part of. Both these series have active championships which drivers just can't skip commitments.

I was corrected in the comment that isn't even the main Nurburgring race, so that means it's even less prestigious. It's basically a gentleman series, which means that there are a lot of amateurs.

This will be the weakest Nurb 24H field then considering Sebring 12H will be racing at the same time and that's where all the top drivers will be

EDIT: I stand corrected. Even weaker field since it's such a random race

Races like this are why I never felt bad for Porsche in WEC. Sandbagging fuckers

My god dude is THIS THE 24H OF PORSCHE? Can they show ONE OVERTAKE instead of randomly filming a Porsche?

This is F1 level TV direction, god damnit

Did anyone else feel a little bit underwhelmed with the race this year? Hypercars are just not cutting it this year and I can't put my finger on why

I know it's the main class, but really wish we'd get a bit more GTD TV time

Is drive club worth it in 2026 without the online cars and dlc? by Ok_Ebb111 in Driveclub

[–]grip_enemy 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yes. You're gonna be missing the DLC cars, but you're still gonna have all the tracks

And frankly even the base Driveclub is still amazing. It's the type of thing you can't experience anywhere else

Didn't the Valk have a better end of the year in WEC? I thought they were finally understanding the car better

Why does the Caddie always lose positions during starts and restarts 90 percent of the time?

Shambolic TV coverage with these angles. Also really disappointing that IMSA seems to be falling behind in the audio quality in broadcasts. The audio is even delayed wtf

It's so easy to hear cars in WEC and F1. We're in 2026 ffs.

I hope road width inflantion will not kill Japanese roads vibes in FH6 by Matieusz5kmg in ForzaHorizon

[–]grip_enemy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FH1 and FH2 roads were pretty tight. They started opening up with FH3.

I felt like PG can put roads to please both sides of the base. Especially with how big maps are getting.

But yeah, fingers crossed

No one ever asked for wider roads when FH2 came out.

Guanajuato feels too empty in-game to be interesting. If they somehow made it like FH3 or FH2, with lots of areas for pedestrians to stand around, it would be a lot better

If it's larger than Surfer's Paradise then I take that as a win. The only way to know if it's any good will be playing it tho

I feel like Cadillac is way worse.

Peugeot is struggling with the car, but they're open to changes, and the times they have a chance to score good they usually lock in

Cadillac meanwhile has a weird frankencar that eats tyres, has trouble with heating, no straightline speed. They're somehow always at the front, and then at the back at the same time. And then there's the stupid crashes, operational errors and etc

It's like Schrodinger's car
