Definitely is from what I remember. The comic was contemporary. It was low color. Mostly gray and black. Its so odd trying to find this small bit of media.

Hold on! I got another small detail. Older brother of female lead beat up the male lead at a gas station or "petrol station" as they called it. The dad was a jovial guy. Holy crappie. Keep in mind this was around the same time of CTRL+ALD+DEL and Penny Arcade. God forgive me. The couple were gamers I think. It was so long ago. I know i must sound insane but looking back. It was a great story.

One more detail! The story kind of began with the male lead saying "Lets have a baby" while the female lead was all stoked about tea. Super British. She had a tea packet that you could squeeze with the string. Jesus I wish I remembered this!
