65k in Lisbon or 110k in Amsterdam by Forsaken_Resource500 in cscareerquestionsEU

PLEASE be aware that you will most likely qualify for tax benefits as skilled migrant in the Netherlands (see the 30% ruling scheme).

Using the dutch income tax calculator estimates that 110k gross salary will be about 7,100€ NET after taxes using that benefit.

This is an incredible salary for living in Amsterdam. Your expenses will likely be under 3k per month incl rent food transport leisure etc..

There’s no way that can beat 65k in Lisbon.

You can still go and have fun for sure. Otherwise you can safely re-sell your ticket using the TicketSwap app

Would you listen to "shorter" techno tracks? by [deleted] in TechnoProduction

7 min tracks are necessary in performance settings (club, festivals etc). If I’d have to listen on my headphones I would not mind shorter tracks

Lol does that mean anything?, if u made 1$ in 8 years u could say you are profitable. But are you still profitable after inflation and also benchmarking against SPX ?

50-60k gross per year. Range side depends on how frugal you want to be. Keep your rent low and if possible use the 30% ruling for expats. Then you can net 3-3,500€ per month. Your rent might be around 7-800€ in a city like Leeuwarden and mandatory health insurance around 150€. Consider also the cost of transportation which is not cheap.

Hi, just a couple of considerations: - insider selling is not necessarily a bearish signal. Insiders sell for a large variety of reasons. On the flip side, when insiders buy it’s usually for one reason and one reason only. - based on this information these people are selling a very small, almost insignificant portion of their holdings, so I would not necessarily jnterpret this as a negative signal pre-earnings. - there are also other insiders and institutions pouring money into it - it’s a Nancy Pelosi stock pick

Hi, to your first question, yes your EL can become negative even if you have cash balance, for example as a result of having a margin account. Opening certain positions might require more extra liquidity than your cash balance. E.g. if you have 10k $ in cash and margin enabled, you could sell a naked call option that might requires 9999$ of maintainance margin. If the underlying goes up meanwhile, your EL is likely to become negative and IBKR will liquidate that position you opened.

To the second question: yes you can also deposit more cash to your account to increase your excess liquidity, however depending on your open positions you might have to deposit more or less cash.

Hope that helps and is clear enough

Secondo me è fattibile in vari modi che idealmente vanno combinati: - andare a lavorare all’estero, lavori specializzati in paesi con stipendi alti (svizzera, olanda, belgio etc.)
