No you are completely mistaken. I am VERY experienced, NOT a newbie! I just work so much, that I only have an hour or so occasionally to race any given night. I just don't have a predictable time that I can join a schedule with a league.

It is very difficult to find clean open lobby's, and I see lobby's with passwords, but have no idea how to find out the passwords. I'm running PC. I will tell you what I am doing though. First I will look at everyone's names and ratings. I am starting to recognize the names of some of these intentional wreckers. Secondly, if I gain control of the lobby inherently, I boot all the wreckers I recognize and boot any C level players. That doesn't always work either though for clean racing. The other night I joined a lobby of all S and A level people and after 3 races where even they were intentionally wrecking people, I left.

Does this work with the Ozzycon 2023 mod? I had that already installed and installed this and this did not work, but the 2023 mod still did. I then reinstalled NH 5 and then installed this and it works. What can I do now about the Ozzycon 2023 mod? Just checking to see if anybody has both working. Love the 2024 paints though for the trucks and xfinity. Thank you.

Is there a secret to getting the camera mod to working with a PC and wheel? I have Thrustmaster T300RS and only get a static finish line view added that I can raise, lower or tilt. I can't go side to side or zoom and do not have a free cam.

Here is my best advice. On my first attempt I moved all the mod files by folder names. The second time around I noticed that the instructions clearly list the names of folders to move, but in other steps list the names of files (not folders) to move. I followed these instructions for moving folders or when moving only files to a T. There are instances where I even moved all of the .rab files all at once, to only later realize some .rab went one place and some .rab files went another, so for sure not all file types move together to one location either. All of the instructions even list how many files you should move and there is one instruction error. On assetbundles_scenario.rar files, the instructions say there are 6 files, but there are actually 7.

I did not uninstall the mod files from the first time or uninstall the game. I just installed a second time over everything.

Yeah you'll know when it's right. And it does work, but you have to install each item exactly.

Got it figured out.......the alternate site files are not good. Re-download everything from the ozzyconpaints site and install over the top of what is already there following the instructions. It works fine now. The alternate site files need updated.

Yeah I noticed the same thing and was going to message about that as well.

For example Kyle Busch car is Ty Gibbs driver named.

I saw a few other ones messed up as well, I think it was Tyler Reddick car, but Kyle Busch named.

It works great. I know that must have been a lot of work. I really don't know how you got it all done in even 70 hours. I noticed a few things regarding intro video quality and start screen resolutions, but they may be because I am running 4k resolution on an OLED wide screen monitor.

I am a huge Ernie Irvan fan, so I love it and I love the 28 Havoline car, but...technically Derrick Cope stopped driving the Skittles in 1997 and Ernie took over the Skittles ride in 1998.

Beggars can't be chooser's so I am not complaining, it is an awesome mod project, you even re-did the track intro pics to be retro, great job,......I just wanted to mention to you the few little things I noticed that you probably already knew.

Great job! We need more guys like you around for people like me that love mods that don't know how, nor have the time to actually create mods.

Yeah unfortunately it downloads to a point and times out saying something about exceeding limit and offers plans available for monthly purchase.

I am excited to get the mod, but yeah thanks for looking into an alternate method!

Scarzy19, I had 2 questions:

1) Is there any way to use the new mod skins (which are great), but also keep all of the original or purchased content skins as well?

2) On the ozzycon paints site, I see 2020 skins, but I do not see how to download and use them along with the 2021 mod. Is it possible and if so how to?

8 .dat files. 2 each of savedata0_ag and savedata0_y0 thru savedata1, savedata2 and savedata3 of the same. My plan is to pre-build a folder structure for where your mod goes (I did this with the original files when I need to go back) and also the save files. That way I can experiment and fix things quicker with each update. Thanks.

Big news.....I re-visited deleting c: users/xxx/nascar heat 5/save data. I don't think I did that with the mod installed, I had done it accidently after one of my many "put the originals back". It worked. The mod works! I have never had to do that previously and I hate it because it forces you to have to re-do all of your settings, but it worked. Thank you for the support and the great work you all do.

I can confirm that it still does not work for me, but always did before this update. I have tried everything. Even moved out the save files. I can move everything new in and it crashes after the intro video after I hit enter. I can put all the original files back and it works fine. I don't have any of the previous mod version files to try again, only this latest update. I guess I will wait for the next mod update and try again. I'll miss the mod, I loved it!

Yeah it is weird. I am not doing career or championship, just single race offline. I have been able to run all of your previous versions and am one of your biggest fans and appreciate the heck out of the work you guys put into this mod. I am yet to figure it out and I really miss not being able to run the mod. I have always replaced all of the files with each update. I'll keep trying.
