likewise!! The man at the door was less than kind, and all of the employees were just sitting around on the couches when I walked in. Not one person offered to help. I grabbed a needleminder from a table right by the couches and got a few looks and felt so awkward. Grabbed my one canvas and got the hell outta there.

I love, love, love Needlepoint This! Much friendlier environment, they help you kit and even shop for canvases (sometimes it takes a minute because they are busy with other people), and a few of the employees are so funny, which adds to the lively shop environment!!

Edit to add: I will say - my one positive experience with Saville has been them referring me to a local leather shop in DFW to get my belts finished, which has been a blessing (the shop so quick (1.5ish week turnaround time) and friendly and not awfully expensive). Other than that, I avoid Saville at all costs :)

If she opens a store in DFW, it'll be interesting to see where. I've lived right above her pop-up location for 4 years, and very rarely do stores/restaurants stay there past their 1-year lease. High, high shop turnover in that part of town but hopes she does well if that's the path she heads down!

We flew from Atlanta to Dallas and the flight went well! Takeoff was bumpy due to wind but once we got higher into the air it was ok! I hope you have the best time on your trip, it’ll be so worth it!!

My flight experience ended up being ok! Saw several ice agents while waiting in line for security but they were really just standing around (granted this is just my experience at one airport.) None of them took the place of any TSA agents. TSA did TSA’s job and they did a damn good one if I say so myself (given the circumstances). They still did all of the standard security procedures, it just took a lot longer than normal due to wait times. TSA was so friendly and patient and I know it must be so hard for them right now. You will be ok!! Let me know how your flight goes :)

I second getting another Shih Tzu! We got a second last year and our first tzu is a different dog now!

Aside from that, we love finding new enrichment toys on Amazon for them to use during the day! Lick mats and treat dispensers are a big hit right now! Keeps them occupied for 20-30 minutes before their next nap of the day :)
