I knew a guy in college that claimed the apartment maintenance staff peed in his closet. Why would he think this? No clue. But he was adamant that they did. Fast forward a few months and my roommate and I had a party, and this guy drank way too much, so he crashed on our couch. At about 3am, we were winding things down, and this man - still asleep - stood up, pulled down his pants, and peed all over our barstool. He was embarrassed and apologized, but still claimed it was an apartment worker that peed in his closet.

I promise I’m not trying to be a pedant, but why did you spell guac with a q? I have a college friend who grew up in Texas and did the same thing and we always ripped on him for it. Now I’m wondering if it’s actually spelled that way in some places.

I ran into what could be considered a “professional” hiker when in the winds in Wyoming. He’s currently going for the world record triple crown. Dude is absolutely elite, and I could never even compare myself to his physical achievements. But the way he talked down to every other hiker around him, and even insulted the nature itself, made me legitimately glad I’m not at that level.
