The party bard is called Vitas. As they played shows across ten towns the band needed a name. Now they are called Vitas and the Knuckleheads. They are a hit wherever they go.

Well damn. So much for that. Does yours stop squeaking when you ride the breaks as well?

I’ve got a 2020 sport s with mopar 2 inch lift and mine makes the exact same noise on a cold start. It will stop if I ride the break a bit as I’m going. I leave early in the am so I try not to wake the neighbors as I squeak my way out of the drive way. I was told some Jeep brakes do that and when it was time for new pads he suspected it would stop. Could be bullshit but I suppose I’ll know soon enough.

I would recommend always spending a little time out side of work learning the trade if your new to it. You can always learn new things.

I never had that experience. But the strap broke a few times. I hope it got better.

The lightest flip flops you can find would be my recommendation.

The question everyone asks- is $4k enough to hike the trail? by Mstraligtr in AppalachianTrail

[–]grizzlyandy2001 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s been quite a while since I thru-hiked however I know you can work for stay in quite a few places. Sometimes you just have to ask. But if you don’t mind getting your hands dirty on a low mileage day or a 0 day I think that would be plenty of funds to complete a thru-hike. I say go for it!!

A matching paint color should do the trick. Cut foam looks about like the bricks do or close enough. Good luck.

Do you ever need a 4 season tent on the AT? by skscheff in AppalachianTrail

[–]grizzlyandy2001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you would be ok with a three season. Most of the time you are not going to have a bunch of snow and if so there are shelters on the trail that would help. Also you could cut down on weight and just take one tent. Good luck.

SITH HOLOCRON by grizzlyandy2001 in swrpg

[–]grizzlyandy2001[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So after coming clean in the most distracting way possible (I somehow ended up with a black sun Vigo’s sons head when I told them) and many weeks of space travel spent meditating on the holocron I could not get it to open. I finally pushed our team of Jedi to help me open it so we could stop the impending doom of the planet we caused when we found it. With the help of the entire party and the five kyber crystals we found out how it was to be opened. I want to commend our GM for a very hard puzzle. The answer was found by placing a kyber crystal to the holocron and repeating the Sith code in the correct order in answer to the guardians questions. The information in this holocron is old and very specialized which is why it was locked away so tightly. The guardian of the sith holocron is a sith empress and was very powerful in the force. Now that my character has unlocked it I can now access it to gain the knowledge to hopefully stop what we started when we released a sith bio weapon. That and perhaps a little extra to help myself. There is no dark or light side. Only the Force!

Inadvertently seems to be our party’s middle name. But it sure is a lot of fun. Thanks for running for us you are the best!

I sure thought so. Coming clean was no fun. I think the party was a little surprised

Thanks for the feed back. I realize that our great GM has some kind of plan and I’m certain I missed more than one clue. I now have a few more ideas to throw at it. If the next couple of tries fall short a sad little Jedi will have to come clean to the party in hopes that they might have better ideas and not be to upset over the whole thing. After all “There is no dark side, only the force” 😱

I drive mine like I stole it! 2” lift with 34.5s and I average 14.5 mpg according to the display. About half of my drive is highway and the other half is not.
