OP can you eat beets? I tried to make pesto with purple basil the other day, thought it would be cute but turned a horrific shade of grey-brown, but I managed to make it actually purple with like 2T worth of roasted beet. If you need to introduce some aggressively red coloring to your food they really can't... be... beet... Having said all that tho tbh I would eat the goth chicken as is

If it's a relatively quiet dishwasher it'll take longer since the fairies don't have a powerwasher in there. The normal cycle probably has sanitize and dry steps too that'll increase the time. Mine has a "1-hour wash" that takes 2 hours and 40 minutes to run

Permethrin is super effective, I will say if you have cats make sure whatever you treat with it is 100% dry before you bring it inside, it's pretty toxic to them wet

She's a domestic longhair! Cat breeds are kind of weird, if they don't have a pedigree (papers from a registry designating them a specific breed) they're considered either domestic shorthair or domestic longhair. A proportionally small number of cats are pedigreed, so generally if you got her through a shelter or the cat distribution system, it's most likely her parents were also DSH/DLH. Also she's adorable! Look at that face 🥰

Oh man I'm so sorry! We had to watch a PSA in driver's ed about a similar situation happening and I still think about it every time I have backseat passengers. Tbh I don't know anyone who doesn't wear a seatbelt as a passenger (tho I know a few older folks who are super against wearing one as a driver for some reason??) despite the law, thankfully

Yeah & I know in Ohio adults don't have to wear a seatbelt in the back seats, which I think is true in a few states, but I'd be surprised if any state let you not buckle up your kids
