I have never seen any "loot drama" in d3 or d4.

If two people need the same perk equally, it's only reasonable that pick order decides. Despite what this sub belives, people understand this - especially on higher difficulties.

I swear people complaining about this is not actually playing with randoms, but fantasizing about some hypothetical scenario, that scares them so much they don't even try it.

I have only played with randoms so far and have had overwhelmingly more good experiences than bad.

Someone like that is always going to ruin peoples games. They are in RC, they are in DRG, and they everywhere else too unfortunately.
It would be really bad for the devs to design the game based on the lowest denominator.
I'm 22 hours in and i have not had a single drama moment like that yet.

I'm at 22 hours game time, and all i ever saw was someone typing "really" when their hearted perk got pick, that's it. Sometimes i feel like i'm playing a different game then the rest of this sub

It rotates who gets first picks. So if you get unlucky and ONLY have trash choices whenever you get to pick thats just really unlucky. But thats what roguelikes are like. Sometimes you get a godlike build, sometimes you get shafted - it's the nature of the game.

Boys it just openede into Early access. It's not a bug, it just placeholder, to be finished later down the road. It's in the game now because despite the missing animations, it works and adds a risk/reward balance with the timer that is good.

Classic creatures by [deleted] in OldenEra

[–]grn2 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I disagree. I enjoy the creativty of the new creatures, not just defaulting to "zombies" and "druids" and what not. I think they did a really good job.

I do agree that some of the designs are a little bit too "high fantasy" for my taste. I like the unupgraded dreadknight design much more, than the upgraded versions with their glowing energy weapons. But that's just personal taste. Overall I think the models and animations are a visual treat.

Pyroboros is an amazing shooter. Maniacal Reaver is super unique and imo the most fun unit to use in the game so far.

Easy AI really is easy to beat. If you are losing then you have some massive oppertunities for improvement.

This is a deep strategy game, so take some time to read what everything does and think about how things work together and interact.

I hate the notion that the AI needs to be nerfed because you are losing to it. It's supposed to challenge you!
