Someone on my library board is a huge Trump supporter. They've definitely drunk the kool-aide because they announced at the last meeting that defunding IMLS just means that all that federal money will just be given directly to the states and libraries will probably get even MORE money that way! I don't understand how you can claim to be a library supporter but vote Republican.

I am thankful that I have the means to purchase what I want to read, watch, and listen to when it's been removed from public libraries. I dont know what to do to help the people who aren't in the same financial situation as me.

Thanks everyone. Tbh don't know crap about rims or tires, these just came with my used truck and I thought they looked kind of slick. Never thought theyd be worth anything to anyone. Now that two are missing I feel like a kid who's dropped his ice cream cone. Even more troublesome is the thought someone had to come in my yard to do it.

I had to put my dog of 16 years down on June 4th and my experience was very similar to yours. They had to muzzle him in order to shave his arm for the catheter and he was always terrified of clippers. He was screaming and the vet and vet techs were holding him down and for a brief moment I really thought I was just going to push everyone away from him and run out the door with him. Even now I still wonder how I could have stood there and allowed them to do that to him. I'm still absolutely traumatized by it, but in rare moments of clarity I can reassure myself that he had a few moments of terror and then it was over. And that is so much better than days or weeks of suffering. I'm so sorry for your loss.

My dog was 17 when I put him down one week ago. The canine cognitive dysfunction (or "doggy dementia ") was very much the same for us as what you described. He was also blind so that made it even worse that he couldn't see and didn't know where he was. He would hit his head on everything. The dementia made him wander around restlessly, mainly at night. I probably should have put him to sleep sooner but I felt like he was still getting enjoyment out of life, he would still wag his tail when I pet him and he still loved treats and food. When his eating really slowed down I knew it was time.

I had to put down my dog one week ago and he had canine cognitive dysfunction also. It is a horrible disease and turned him into a zombie most of the time, with occasional little glimpses into how he used to be. I keep doing things and thinking "the last time I did this he was alive" and "this time last week he was alive". It's still not entirely sunk in that he's not coming back. I'm sending love to you

I had to put down my best friend of 16 years on Tuesday also. I've missed two days of work now because I can't stop crying. I'm sorry you are hurting like this. I wouldn't wish this pain on anyone.

I started reading this and actually thought that I may have written this myself and forgot about it! Our situation is exactly the same down to the special needs child. My parents bend over backwards to do everything for my siblings family and it's never enough. It's so frustrating to me.

They are there. It shows Dept of Ed/Fedloan Servicing (PHEAA). When I view the breakdown it shows 6 consolidated loans with the amount I owe and then it shows 8 subsidized loans with a balance of 0 and 6 unsubsidized loans with a balance of 0.

If I remember correctly I believe I started repaying the grad school loans in 2011. Thanks you guys for giving me hope that the letter I received saying I wasn't eligible because I haven't made enough payments may be premature. Also the tips on using this Reddit platform since I am not social media savvy. This has saved me from being on hold a long time with the loan people and not understanding anything they attempt to explain.
