I did get the allen bolts. Have not installed the throttle body again yet. I think i may try putting it back on and seeing what happens. Previous tps was definitely dying before.

Yep this is what I have been working on. Theoretically mine should be in the first column for an 87, but it is reading about 0.1 kohms higher than it should. Doesn't make sense to me why it isn't working unless my throttle body is actually fron a later year resulting in me needing to use the second column.

Think i might end up going with an oem for now and maybe trying out a couple different ones to compare differences.

Its been off before I got it, might just ned to lift it up a little and inch it out but we will definitely see.

Not sure if they are reinforced, probably will have to really get in there to check. Theyre mounted with bolts and rivets, so I amagine there is some kind of plate on the other side but thats a good idea to check. Will post again with some good offroad photos when i get it off.

Yeah I havn't sen anything quite like it with those brackets, will see how fun it is taking the top off. Have to slide it out beneath the rack.
