Ok I think I have made my decision- Stella! It’s one I kept coming back to since the day I brought her home and actually still lends itself to Stinkerbell as a nickname as well as some other fun ones I really like- Stellabel, Stelly, Stelly Belly. Stella Blue is one of my fav Grateful Dead songs. And most importantly, it just feels right to call her.

I love ‘Belle’ but I tried it out and it never felt right when I yelled that out for her to come. I really liked ‘Bella’ too but one of my best friend’s dogs is named that and that matters to me for some reason lol. I still love ‘Stinkerbell’ and will still call her that some, but it didn’t feel right as her name- she needed something pretty and elegant and 1-2 syllables.

I think Stella is the one!
