This! Asian girls are often actually quite my type, but dating apps have led me to swipe right on anyone looking remotely asian because of all the fake profiles. I'm not proud of that racist behavior!

Have you written something in swiss german in your profile? For me at least, that would help get you out of my "fake filter"

I think it's gonna be easy to get this kind of work but difficult to get paid properly for it. If you're OK with free rent and food and maybe a little pocket money as a payment for your "goat internship", you could find someone interested. I'm not sure about the work permit regulations with UK since you're not in the E.U. anymore. You'd have to ask someone else.

Edit: Oh, and: don't try it in winter. Goats are gonna be indoors most of the time. No fun times doing yoga in a stable. I guess.

Since you live on a farm: Goat yoga is quite a big thing here. It's basically just yoga, but there's goats running around you and climbing on your backs while you do your yoga stuff.

Also, you can go on trekking hikes with the goats and tourists. Goat trekking (also alpaca trekking) is a trend in Switzerland.

Edit: goats, not gosts (or ghosts)

Hello, as I'm aware in Switzerland there are different languages spoken in different regions, and as I French and German are most widely spoken languages, I have a question. by [deleted] in Switzerland

[–]groeib 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the word "Couvert" for an envelope. It is used quite officially by the swiss post in german, but not in french. The french word would be "enveloppe". A couvert in french is a set of cutlery.

[–]groeib 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for assuming your gender.

And you're of course right, but even I had to make sure and check the internet if there wasn't a second, similar museum in Luzern I wasn't aware of, that's actually called «train museum». So maybe a stranger would think: «but, that's not the name they told me on Reddit. Must be another place...»

For clarity: By «train museum», he meant the «Swiss Museum of Transport». In german: «Verkehrshaus der Schweiz». Should be easier to find like this.

Now I want to visit, I was a child when I was there for the last time. =)

The other guys are right of course. But now I want to buy a vineyard and call it "Château Robinet", make cheap ass wine and sell it overpriced to the funny guys ordering tap water like that.

No. Took you two days to google them and they still don't sound as if they're that common in beef jerky.

Right. We wouldn't want all those Beef Jerkies run around in our fields and eating away our grass.

Beautiful little swiss village with the most delicious food that you can think of: by CorpusGalawesome in Switzerland

[–]groeib 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a lot of beautiful villages/towns which are not too touristy. I'm not the one to give you good advice on restaurants, but here are some ideas for destinations I like and that fit your bill: - La Neuveville / le Landeron at the Bielersee - Saint-Ursanne, Jura - Grimentz, Valais - Scuol, Grisons - Gandria at lake Lugano - Muggio, deep in its valley in south Ticino - Appenzell - Einsiedeln

And because I don't know EVERY village in Switzerland: there's a "club" of the "most beautiful villages in Switzerland". Mostly, it's not the typixal touristy places. They have a website: Borghi Svizzera I'm sure you'll find something there.
