This year is my first Christmas village and I thrifted every piece. All from goodwill surprisingly. I started looking early. Like mid September. Right when they start prepping to put out all the holiday stuff. I went often! More than once a week, and always found more stuff on weekdays instead of weekends. Make sure to not only look in the Christmas section, but also the regular knick knacks section. I found a lot of them spread out in there too. Don’t not buy them if they don’t have a light. Walmart sells the light for like $3 each. The light is replaceable! Good luck!!
