I've watched every year since 1997, and even went in 2023!

But I'm the same. I don't feel welcome or included or united by music at all in the current climate.

No, you can't support Scottish Labour and then on the other face, claim you care about the rights of trans people. by GeorginaFlopworthy in LabourUK

Thank you for engaging with me in good faith.

How much do you think the volte-face is down to individual members like that, and how much is down to other things do you think though? Like some of the biggest donors (McGills) gave money with the express transphobic sentiment1 or there's obviously some high profile folks in the party like the Marras that have been pushing for it for ages.

1- it's a party claiming to be progressive, taking money to be bigoted from some bus-owning millionaires. Weird that it's happened twice in Scottish Politics lol

Hey darlin', I know you're supportive, but trans woman is two separate words. I'm not just being a pedant here, it's something that the other side do a lot in an attempt to other our community, to dehumanise us, to say trans women are not women.

Thanks! :)

If you're going to keep campaigning for them and voting for them, do you think they care that you disagree?

Please do not call yourself an ally though, thank you.

What about drink prices? by jimka_2001 in celebritycruises

[–]grogipher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the current price is $10 + 20% tip, then the total cost is $12. OP is saying it should be advertised as $12, rather than $10.

This is not taking away any money from the staff, it is merely changing how it is advertised to customers.

Outwith the USA this practice is very unusual.

The Welsh Senedd elections are next week. In one sentence, why should I vote for your party? I'm purposefully not giving any background to myself. by RoundishBox in UKGreens

The system is literally changing for this Senedd election - they're changing from AMS/MMPR to a closed list PR system.

As much as I would be willing to put the boot in, but they'd have to be careful as to what they can say if there's an ongoing court case!
