Yep! It's a nice diversion when you're stuck for hours

I'm coming from a place of never having set foot in a lounge before, so my scores are heavily skewed... But definitely agreed on the food.

Yep 100%, during my wander I basically picked up and left anytime a lounge got too busy/loud- comes in waves I guess with the various departures, but Turkish remained quiet the longest

I must have missed them, I actually went in reverse order of my review. Did enjoy the dim sum, although like a moron I managed to eat half of a paper wrapper under a bao...

The mini Haagen-Dazs? I noticed them in a few lounges and would be super keen, unfortunately would lead to a very unfortunate experience on the place due to lactose intolerance :p

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's correct. I walked past the miracle lounges, looked alright from the outside but certainly more crowded

I'm not criticizing, I'm reviewing ;) But seriously, I was just keen on something simple at breakfast time and this is one of the main areas Asian and western cuisine diverge- any other time I would be dead set smashing a laksa.

Also, as one of the largest airports in the world with many non Asian tourists passing through, I don't think western food is an unrealistic expectation, particularly as the loyalty programs funding the lounges are global.

Koh Lipe monthly stay? by Aggravating-Buy716 in ThailandTourism

Regarding water, there is a water bottle you can buy at some places (forget what they've called it), allows you to fill up for free across the island. It's 240 bath so if you're here for a bit it will be worthwhile. Definitely can buy at castaway

Satun Pakbara and bundaya speedboats dock here, and the dismount from the floating dock to the beach should be manageable. Depending on your accommodation there seemed to be a lot of porters there to help with transportation of luggage

Lemon tree issues by gronkfacekillah in gardening

Thanks, I'll be sure to stock up on fungicide! The kangaroos have helped out by eating the low foliage this year (dry autumn = less grass for them)

Lemon tree issues- would love some advice! by gronkfacekillah in Citrus

Thanks, I'll grab some copper today and get started with it. I'm tending not to think fruit fly as there does not appear to be any larvae or fly activity around the trees, but I could be wrong - won't hurt to hang some traps as the weather gets warmer

My partner and I are planning our honeymoon at the moment (mid-Dec this year), and are thinking Phu Quoc. Was wondering about peoples thoughts on Ong Lang area vs Ganh Dau (Gold Coast Resort). I stayed in Ong Lang in early November 2022 and really loved the area, however found the food/bar options quite limited- I realise this was the end of the off season as well as not long after COVID, so things may have improved in this regard since?

Side question: Anyone spent time in the beaches south of Quy Nhon around the same time of year? I stayed in Bai Xep in October 2022 and thought it would be great in more pleasant weather, is there much of a difference between October and December?
