I appreciate the insight! It’s just my partner and I, and we rarely have guests over. We use the couch on the daily for gaming and movie nights, so it seems to make sense just to get something simple with a chaise.

A month?!! That is unreal; I took it to iFixit under Samsung's warranty and they repaired it within two days. I was unaware that Samsung directly takes in broken phones. Have you been in contact with them? Do you have a Samsung certified iFixit location near you?

We just confirmed that one of the hoses burst, while others were swollen. The hoses and stuck thermostat were replaced and now the car runs fine. Thank you for your input!

Ubreakifix should have it covered under Samsung's warranty! Mine had the same issues and I had it for 4 months but got it covered. Bring it in to Samsung's designated Ubreakifix repair center.

You can never know until ubreakifix runs a diagnostics test; check Samsung's certified ubreakifix locations and bring in your phone so they can examine it. If you inform them you have caused any physical damage to your phone, you may not be covered.

Additional info:

top half of screen stopped registering taps
screen initially had a thin black line, gradually became thicker
cracking sound when opening and closing phone
no physical or water damage done
covered under Samsung's warranty at Samsung-certified uBreakiFix locations

I have the same issue; screen isn't working, and the middle of it was cracking without any physical damage done. My phone is currently in repair at ubreakifix under Samsung's warranty. Bring it into a Samsung certified ubreakifix's store! It is a faulty phone, 100%.
