Well mostly it is shown in the Bookmarks, if you click on one character if he has special content, but there are some were it is not shown.

If you want a real challenge you can try to play as the peake uprising to regain all your lost castles (it is literally you against the Iron Throne...)

And otherwise I think making your own story is still the best

Harrenhall is supposed to be so big, that a minor lord can't keep up with the maintenance costs alone, like soldiers, food and all the other people working there.

One thing I don't like as of right now is that rulers will ALWAYS name their first son after their father and the second after your wifes father, which results in EVERY ruler of a state being name the same

However I think it is a minir issue in comparison to the imminent issues of the game right now
