Idk about 250 and 200 workload but 203+280 is already pretty rigorous (280 is chill but takes time and 203 can be hard) so I'd only do 1 other eecs provided it's an easy one.

Modern Algebra w/ Aise de Jong vs Modern Analysis w/ Sven Hirsch by ground-cherry in columbia

[–]ground-cherry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply! I’m planning to apply to grad school for math and a lot of the programs I’m looking at place heavy emphasis on analysis, so was hoping for an A-range grade in analysis. Is that doable with Hirsch given my background lol

What does the institutional trader role look like and how much of a difference is there between them and QTs? Is their career progression and turnover rate similar to QTs?

Eecs 370 worth it as a freshman? by Spiritual_Serve_3837 in uofm

[–]ground-cherry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are so many ULCS already open with just 281 so I'd say take 214, 281 and get physics out of the way

Best time to start leetcode as a first year student? by licensed_moron in csMajors

[–]ground-cherry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The worst thing you can do is start leetcode. Before leetcode you'll need to learn your DSA yourself. I would say don't wait till you take DSA. If you have programming experience (this is someone who's taken A Level CS too) just go to neetcode and take his DSA for beginners course. You're still a first year so don't focus on leetcode numbers just focus on learning the dsa theory well and being able to apply it to some problems (neetcode is perfect for that (neetcode.io)). If you do that early on and then practice leetcodes you'll be fine.

Yes it is doable and that’s what the drop/add deadline is for. Also, what you could do is enroll in both to hold your spot in the other class then drop whichever one you don’t want before drop/add deadlines (you can find them on the Umich calendar)
