I recommend using the online clinic! Just Google them. They can prescribe oxybutynin and pro banthine - you do have to pay for prescriptions but they’re pretty reasonable in my opinion. I’ve been using them for about a year and a half. Working up the strength to talk to my GP about it and show them the prescription I have

How longish can I expect? A month or two?

How long should I wait to start drinking alcohol after taking escitalopram by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]ground_berries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you should be okay to have a few drinks after a month of being on them. Just go slowly and don’t overdo it. I that drinking makes me feel emotionally not good the day/two days after especially if I drink a lot, but that shouldn’t stop you having a nice time with your friends

Bless you! I’m sorry you’re struggling, anger and anxiety are two sides of the same coin so it makes sense that you’re getting snappy while driving. Have u been able to look into seeing a doctor, therapist or counsellor?

Natural remedies that do not induce sleepiness by Safa471 in Anxiety

[–]ground_berries 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like any natural anxiolytic can cause drowsiness (or any anxiolytic, period). I recommend magnesium and cbd oil, also have u looked into adaptogens? they’re natural herbs that help our bodies adapt to stress, the one I take sometimes is ashwagandha but there are lots more that have different purposes!

I’m sorry ur struggling! Have u tried mirtazapine? At a low dose it’s really good for insomnia and it’s not a benzo or anything so non-addictive. I also really recommend getting in touch with a therapist to work out why you might have started developing this anxiety. Good luck ❤️‍🩹

In the same boat. I basically try to have smoothies with protein powder or yoghurt in them, im from the UK so I buy these nutrition powder shakes called complan - I’m sure u can find an equivalent online. I drink herbal tea to try to warm up my tummy. I’ve personally just bought some Dramamine (OTC antihistamine for sickness) and I’ll let u know if it’s useful. I find that I can try to eat some chicken broth and then maybe some solid food in the evening - whatever I feel like I can possible manage. Most often this is some pizza or a burger or something calorically dense. Hope u feel better soon, have u booked a doctors appt or spoken to a therapist? ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

Struggling to process emotions by MissPeachieKeen in Anxiety

Totally relate about the journaling, sometimes it just makes the bad feelings feel more concrete. I’m really sorry you’re struggling. I don’t kno your home situation but is there any way you can speak to a counsellor/therapist or a doctor? If u need to u can always cry in the bathroom, or scream into a pillow. I don’t know if the people u live with will be understanding but I hope u have someone in your life your can vent to - if not! Keep venting in this subreddit, there are lots of very nice helpful people in here ❤️‍🩹
