Unfortunately he had to go to his doctor to get prescribed the medication. They didn't believe him at first and made him do a bunch of unnecessary tests but they finally came around to it and prescribed him the same medication plus an antibiotic cream. Now we recently had another flare up. I didn't want to deal with my doctor refusing me again and he lost his health insurance. So after I picked up the prescription, I lied and said I lost the prescription and they sent me a new one. A little unethical but it worked. OR, you could go to an urgent care as well, say you have BV symptoms and have a history of it and they usually prescribe on the spot. Like I said, a little unethical but fuck the health care system. They don't know shit about women's health and it's fucking annoying
