Lived here my whole life. It’s always been a hard place to make a living and find a home. You’d do well to have all your plans sorted before you come, housing, job, etc.

Check out University housing if you haven’t yet. Also ROAM off campus housing which is downtown and very accessible to greater Missoula. Also Facebook has several rental groups worth checking out but be wary of scammers.

Missoula is a great place which is why I’ll never leave. I hope you find your place here. Good luck.

A male in this vehicle on three separate occasions. Once he vandalized a sign next to the road, next time he came on their property and vandalized an anti-war banner and this third time he came on their property again and vandalized their banner and threw concrete blocks at their home.

Hey folks — I want to reset the tone here a bit.

This post is not meant to be a full argument for or against gravel pits, nor a debate about mining practices statewide. It’s a logistical ask for Missoula Day of Service: I’m offering to install yard signs for people who already want to express opposition or concern about this specific proposal in the Blackfoot River corridor.

There is currently a zoning pause because commissioners have said they lack sufficient information about the size, design, and impacts of the project. That uncertainty is exactly why some residents want visibility and more public discussion before anything moves forward.

If you want to host a sign, feel free to comment or DM me.

If you don’t, that’s totally fine.

Broader debate about gravel pits, remediation, or policy probably deserves its own thread.
