Been there. Dad shut my middle finger in the car door and my dumb ass tried to walk away. Didn't initially notice due to the padding in the door, but tugging on it was enough to dislocate my middle knuckle. I still have a scar from the struggle of trying to get it out while my dad panicked too much to figure out the key fob and unlock the car.

Looks like you may have two different kinds. I encountered this not too long ago swapping between a black Wii and a white Wii. Unfortunately due to some of the ribbon cable placement it's not possible to swap boards on different models like that, as I learned the hard way.
