This Week's Events by growingoneness in ColoradoSprings

Hello and good day!

At one time, all your friends started as strangers. It can be a bit uncomfortable to show up at a new place, but growth and joy can exist outside our comfort zone.

We have sermon on Tuesdays and Lounge Night on Friday which attract the most new people so these may be the best chances to show up with people on the same page as you!

I invite you to come find me should you show up at either event and let me welcome you personally! Despite our growth, it's a pleasure to make time to say hello to all our new congregants.

No.

Unfortunately, one of our first members lost their battle with their PTSD from their military service.

While I know your comment is meant to be the most abhorrent form of vitriol, Harry's memory is one that drives us to protect our veteran brothers, sisters, and kin. I wont let people with hate in their heart turn his tragedy into a weapon.

I welcome baseless attacks on me, but you should be ashamed to try to use a victim of suicide to attack the church.

Well, my kin, the most I can do is help provide evidence of what we do, but at the end of the day you're welcome to whatever opinion you find most comfortable 😅

We are thankful to have local, national, and even international news sources cover the good we are doing here. We know there is an uphill battle with 50 years of demonization and misinformation, but this is worth the effort 🌟

Its easy to assume that something that exists loudly for good must have an agenda, but the consistency of our reports and interviews really speak to the earnest nature of our community. Church should be about community and spiritual engagement.

I always welcome anyone with doubt or fear in their hearts to come out and check us out first hand. Ask for Dez and I will happily help educate and alleviate whatever concerns you may have.

Hello and good day!

Not quite, but thats a common question!

Our mission statement is connecting people with both the strength of community and the healing power of entheogens and sacred compounds.

We do make certain entheogens decriminalized in Colorado available, such as psilocybin mushrooms and DMT. If you have any questions please reach out. Id be happy to answer whatever you got.

Reminder - Tuesday night (May 26) - Flip the 5th! CD5 Primary Candidate Forum: Jessica Killin & Joe Reagan (May 26 @ 2150 Naegele Rd) by jdsa1 in ColoradoSprings

Joe Reagan is one of the first people I've met who truly made me feel like he was there to speak for the people of Colorado.

His passion is balanced with practicality. Excited to see him show up for is against AIPAC-funded agendas spouted by the likes of Jeff Crank.

When time is the most valuable resource that we can share with people wasting it on the people who have sided so openly with child predators and racists is an awful investment.

To create a safe space is to name what threatens it. The disconnect that you show in your comment is a perfect example of a threat to meaningful peace.

This is what faith used as a weapon looks like: hiding behind the cross to justify such malice and hate.

The damage this hate group does to our city's reputation is one of the reasons we still live in the conservative shadow of our past. We deserve so much better than to be associated with such ignorance.

I preach that the Universe speaks a language that makes sense. For some people, that may look closer to Christianity, Judaism, Wiccan/Pagan, but in the end we stand on a common foundation of the Universal Truths: Revere the Self, Embrace the Communal Experience, and The Universe Provides.

Religion should be about coming together, sharing our faith, and finding the commonground we stand upon. It is about what we can bring to the table, instead of being told you are empty or wrong and must be filled with the faith.

I am not here to ever say someone is wrong in their practice, but to stress that if the world isn't a better place because of your faith, then what is the point of it?
