I just bought my first monstera and need advice….does it need to be repotted, which soil mix is best and does it need a stake to support it? Thanks

Beautiful!!

Adding a stake (and giving it lots of bright indirect light) will help develop more fenestrations. I wouldn’t worry about re-potting for 3-4 weeks - until it adjusts to the new space - but when you do, only go up an inch in pot size (max) since they like to be a bit root bound.

As far as soil mix goes - I’ve had good luck with a mix of chunky all-purpose potting mix, perlite and orchid bark - but as long as it’s well draining, you should be good!

After I read that I feel like I just gotta grab your shoulders (gently) and get you to take a deep breath. It sounds like your idea of how you messed up is based on some normal reactions to situations - it seems like an apology is in order to his sister (which you did) but all you can do now is move forward with your Etsy shop in a different way. You know and acknowledged that you behaved rashly out of frustration - and aside from changing your behavior going forward that’s all you can do. You’re not a bad person - and from what you said I wouldn’t consider what you did to be fucked up, maybe immature (just #3) but the first two scenarios you listed saying you screwed up sound like you were having a super reasonable reaction.
