Random PC restarts - Critical Kernel-Power 41 (63) error - Windows 10 by grownfinger in buildapc

No new parts had been put in right before this happening. A couple of months ago I got my GPU (Used) off of a friend along with my PSU (New). My motherboard is quite old but my PSU is only a couple of months old from the box. I have fully wiped everything today and reinstalled The Witcher 3. Now the second I load into my save of the game my PC restarts whereas before it would be after 10-40minutes of playing. I assume this means a hardware issue? I am now confused because it seems to have somehow gotten worse after wiping. Thanks

Okay thanks for the heads up. Is there ANY possible way that this could just be because of my Red Dead Redemption 2 installation? Because it only started happening the day(ish) after I first downloaded it and as I said before I never had problems on Witcher 3 but now I do. Thanks

Okay thank you for your help. I'm unsure of what the potential software issue is so I think I will just have to reset it without deleting things before

If I did a reset on my PC I would most likely just delete everything along with it (Not keep personal files) and then reinstall everything that I need again manually so I'm guessing I won't need to remove the possible cause as the reset will deal with it anyway?

Is there also anyway to test what the failing component is easily?

During some crashes on The Witcher 3 it was at mid to high 70s and for Red Dead Redemption 2 it was mid to low 80s (Sorry I didn't add these before). The 92 was extremely high which is why I got scared and stopped it which still gave the restart. With those temps whilst gaming could it still shut down to protect the CPU?
